ANNE CLEMENTS www.anneclements.com

Images from the series ‘Facing the World’. The title is taken from the image of a young football enthusiast, Ali Hussein, who was injured by an American bomb in Iraq when he lost one eye and suffered severe facial injuries. It is thanks to the charity ‘facing the world’ founded by UK cranio-facial surgeons that Ali’s face is slowly being rebuilt. Half the profits from sales of this series of photos will go to this charity.

DANIILAS GALICKIS www.dangalickis.com

Lithuanian photographer Daniilas exhibits a selection of work from three different projects.

  • ‘A Place to Be’ an exploration of our living surroundings
  • ‘Year of the Ox’ – a glimpse of everyday life in china town
  • ‘Burgers, chips and pizza’ – a look at the fast food catering industry.

CHRIS MAMMONE www.chrismammone.co.uk

Two separate series of images. Black and white street photography depicting life in your average English seaside town. A colour documentary project shot on the day of the Royal Wedding of WilKate.

STEVE SCHOFIELD www.steveschofield.co.uk

My practice is concerned with the hyper-real. I reflect the desire of my sitters to create a utopian existence based on their obsessions and hobbies, each influenced by popular culture. I seek to show how, through this strange sub-cultural world of fandom, like-minded people establish a fictional existence to escape the everyday. Steve works regularly for the Guardian & Times newspapers.

GISELA TORRES www.giselatorres.co.uk

Gisela’s large scale images – ‘Virgin, Bride, Whore, Widow’ are from her series ‘Faces of Women’.
